Homesteading Fair – Sunday June 16

JT Homesteader Homesteading Fair

Come celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Homestead Act.

We are gathering at the Community Center (in North Joshua Tree) for an afternoon of skill-sharing, product showcasing, storytelling, barter and general good times.

We invite you to share a useful product, a skill, or a homemade food item — something you feel is uniquely connected to your way of building a life here in the hi-desert. Or simply share your story.

Special guest Kim Stringfellow (artist and author of “Jackrabbit Homestead”) will speak on the history of desert homesteading, and how the movement is still playing out in our area.

Join us!

Sunday, June 16, 2 – 5pm

Copper Mountain Mesa Community Center
