How to help fight Dollar General’s bid to build a big store in Joshua Tree

The Joshua Tree Downtown Business Alliance (of which we are members) has engaged the services of a righteous attorney to represent us at the June 4, 2013 appeal hearing before the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors regarding Dollar General’s proposal to build a store in Joshua Tree.

To contribute to associated costs, please consider making a substantial donation to the JTDBA’s “No Dollar General War Chest.”

Checks should be made out to John Simpson, who is the JTDBA treasurer.

You can drop off your donation check — again, made out to John Simpson — through the door at his downtown Joshua Tree office:

John Simpson
61711 Twentynine Palms Highway
Joshua Tree, CA 92252

or mail it to him at that address.

Even quicker — you may donate to JTDBA’s “No Dollar General War Chest” by sending funds via PayPal to:

johnmsimpson@mac.com

No donation is too small — or too large!
