Keyhole garden finish

This little project—a modified African keyhole garden—was started by local permaculture friends, who fixed the site, cut the wood and so on. Here I am finishing it—laying in sheets of local cow manure, straw, a composted mixture of local cow manure & local woodchips, topped by kitchen leavings. The garden will be seeded for vegetables and herbs after the last frost. Photos by Stephanie.
