Blooming Sacred Datura

Photo by Stephanie Smith, sometime in the last 10 days.

I think this is a Sacred Datura (Datura wrightii). These are found all over the High Desert.

Datura aka Jimson Weed, Devil’s Apple, Thorn Apple, Stinkweed, Devil’s Weed, Malpitte, Moonflower and Toloache (D. inoxia), has a history of use by humans. Erowid classifies it as a “deliriant.”
